How to Care for your Deep Purple Lavance Dried Lavender Flowers

Deep Purple Lavance dried Lavender flowers are a beautiful new variety.  Keep your dried Deep Purple Lavance Lavender in great shape with these handy tips for unpacking your order when it arrives and storing it for the future.

Shedding buds: Dried lavender plants will commonly lose buds during transport! Don’t stress – this is very normal! We suggest you gather any lost buds and other lavender material and store it in an airtight jar for future use.  McKinley Lavender Farm includes one empty jar in your shipping box to collect loose buds lost during shipping.

Storage: If you aren’t planning on using your lavender right away you can leave it in the box until you’re ready. We ask that you carefully inspect your shipment at least once upon arrival. Store the box in a cool location from direct sunlight until you are ready to use it.

Deep Purple Lavance Lavender is a beautiful ENGLISH ‘Lavandula Angustifolia’ lavender. Its fragrant purple blooms are very sweetly scented. Deep Purple Lavance is a great source of lavender oil and flower parts for culinary use due to its sweet aromatic scent. The plants’ foliage tends to die back over winter. Lavance blooms in the spring from the roots.
